Sunday morning and the mountains are doing something they haven't done all month: giving back. Utah's Cottonwoods are loading up tonight — 5 to 9 inches for Alta, 5 to 8 for the Bird — with colder air tightening the snow quality through Monday. The PNW, which has been reading flatline for weeks, has a legitimate 1-to-2-foot storm queued up Tuesday through Friday. Even the Sierra, fresh off last week's surprise dump, is sitting on 15 inches in the last 24 hours with temps in the teens. Three days to closing at most of the majors, and the sky is handing out parting gifts like it just remembered something. This is the Sunday you skip brunch, check the radar, and make a plan. The season isn't over — it's having one last word.

LINE's new CONCEPT category debuts with the Poisson, a ski that's been generating serious noise in Japanese and North American ski media. It's the kind of shape-forward, style-driven design LINE's been building toward — a completely new silhouette built around the brand's "FUN and STYLE" ethos. Details are still emerging ahead of full '26-27 season reveals, but early looks suggest this is LINE at its most ambitious. Keep an eye on this one.

Pacific Northwest closed

Zero snow on the ground at Baker, Crystal, and Stevens with temps 33-44°F — but a 33cm (13in) storm is forecast through midweek, which could reopen limited terrain at higher elevations. →

Rockies mixed

Colorado's base is gone and season is functionally over; Utah's a different story — 1 inch in the last 24 hours with up to 10 inches incoming through Tuesday, temps 28-44°F, and Alta and Snowbird still spinning lifts. →

Northern Rockies / Interior BC thin

Jackson and Big Sky showing 1cm base with only 2cm new snow and temps 26-40°F; Revelstoke sitting on 2cm base with 9cm forecast in the next three days — scraping the bottom but not quite done. →

Northeast closed

Jay Peak, Killington, and Mount Snow showing zero base despite cold overnight temps dipping to 17°F — no new snow in the forecast and the season appears wrapped for the region. →

Europe thin

Alps holding 1-2cm base across France, Switzerland, and Austria with temps 30-45°F and almost nothing in the forecast — glacier operations and high-altitude terrain only; Scandinavia reading 1cm base at -9°C to 2°C with no new snow expected. →

Japan closed

Zero base across both Hokkaido and Honshu with temps 33-53°F and nothing in the forecast — the book is closed. →
